Course Overview
The ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is SAP's standard way to build transactional apps and OData services in ABAP for S/4HANA and the BTP ABAP environment.
Where it is used:
Used for new custom development on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP ABAP environment, replacing older approaches like SEGW-based services for many scenarios.
What you will learn:
- Model business objects with CDS view entities
- Write behaviour definitions for managed and unmanaged scenarios
- Implement actions, determinations and validations
- Enable draft handling and use EML
- Expose services with service definitions and bindings and preview them as Fiori apps
